Design and Special Inspections for a 69,000 s.f.  5-story dormitory with first floor retail space and cafeteria.  Structure utilizes a structural steel frame with composite floor slabs and roof slab. Concentrically braced frames resist the wind and earthquake loads. The foundation consists of spread footings on a Geopier soil stabilization system

Building received an award from the Connecticut Associated Builders and Contractors for Uniqueness of Project and Design.
